Senior Designer

Michelle Miller Design is a full-service, high-end residential interior design firm with an impeccable reputation built one project at a time. Specializing in exclusive private estates, we create unforgettable, highly customized interiors that reflect the highest personal standards of our clients.

We are seeking a motivated, experienced, and passionate Senior Designer with proven new construction experience to join our dynamic design team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Create original, marketable, and highly detailed design concepts
  • Produce and present client-facing design presentations
  • Lead and facilitate client meetings with confidence and professionalism
  • Perform on-site measurements, site visits, and documentation
  • Produce comprehensive construction drawings, including electrical plans, RCPs, tile layouts, and furniture plans
  • Collaborate with builders, architects, and trades throughout the new construction process
  • Work closely with the purchasing expediter on order processing and tracking
  • Coordinate and oversee on-site furniture deliveries and installations

Requirements include:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of direct residential interior design experience, with significant experience in new construction projects
  • Degree in Interior Design from a CIDA-FIDER accredited school
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and coordination with trades
  • Ability to manage projects from initial concept through final installation
  • Excellent time-management, project-management, and client-management skills
  • Highly creative, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and well-organized
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under deadlines
  • Proficiency in construction drawings, codes, materials, furniture, finish selections, and specifications
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Professional, reliable, and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in office full time

Junior Designer

Michelle Miller Design is a full-service, high-end residential interior design firm with an impeccable reputation built one project at a time. Specializing in exclusive private estates, we create unforgettable, highly customized interiors that reflect the highest personal standards of our clients.

We are seeking an ambitious, talented Junior Designer who has dreamed of working for a high-end residential interior design firm.

This will be a fully immersive position where you will be trained by senior designers and then implemented into our interior design process.

The potential of this position is limitless!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to manage projects and communicate with clients and industry professionals
  • Assist with research and sourcing
  • Create electrical, RCP, tile, and furniture plan drawings in AutoCAD
  • Create furniture plan designs and selections
  • Produce and organize design presentations
  • Communicate with architects, general contractors, and subcontractors on construction and design-related items
  • Work with purchasing expediter on order processing
  • On-site furniture deliveries and coordination

Requirements include:

  • Degree in Interior Design from a CIDA-FIDER accredited school
  • Exceptional portfolio of work
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite
